This Slate Rectangle Serving Tray has been engraved with images from nature. The illustration of a buck striding through a birch forest is from local Vermont Artisan, Laura Zindel. The slate tray can be used for building a stunning cheese board or can also be used as a trivet for a hot dish.
Care:
Wash in warm soapy water immediately after each use and dry thoroughly. Do not use as a cutting board-Slate will dull your knife and has the potential to split and crack with applied pressure. Slate is a natural stone, so some acids and alkaline cleaners may etch its surface. Your slate arrives to you pre-sealed with a food safe stone sealer.
